Some voices just need the opportunity to be heard.
Amplify with Laura C was created from a simple belief: everyone has a story, and sometimes all it takes is someone willing to listen.
Each week, I bring together people, perspectives and music that invite us to think differently, challenge assumptions and discover something new.
From community changemakers and advocates to artists, entrepreneurs, volunteers and everyday Australians, Amplify is about looking beyond the labels, recognising the person and making room for conversations that matter.
Some stories will inspire you. Others might challenge what you thought you knew. Some will simply make you smile.
And that's exactly the point.
"It's not about how well-known someone is. It's about what we might discover when we listen."
A Little Bit of Everything. Always Something Worth Hearing.
These are recurring features, not a promise that all six will appear in every episode. Some broadcasts feature extended interviews and a different mix of segments.

Great Music Deserves to Be Heard.
Music is at the heart of Amplify.
Every song I select for the program is performed by an artist with disability.
Not because disability defines their music, but because extraordinary talent deserves opportunity, recognition and an audience.
From established performers to emerging voices, Amplify creates space to discover music, appreciate creativity and celebrate artists for what they do best.
"The music speaks for itself. My job is to help more people hear it."
Beyond the Headlines. Beyond the Labels.
The conversations on Amplify go beyond introductions, job titles and achievements.
I'm interested in the person behind the story.
The decisions that shaped them. The unexpected turns. The challenges, opportunities, lessons and moments that changed their perspective.
My guests come from different backgrounds and experiences, but each conversation offers an opportunity to understand something — or someone — a little better.
Sometimes the most powerful part of a conversation is what we discover we have in common.
Michael Milton
Paralympic champion, featured in the October 2026 return of Amplify, discussing experiences, decisions, setbacks and life beyond sporting achievements.
Chloe Wigg

Whose Voice Should We Amplify Next?
You don't need to be famous to have a story worth sharing.
Perhaps you're making a difference in your community, creating something extraordinary, challenging assumptions or simply have an experience that could help someone else see the world differently.
Or perhaps you know someone whose story deserves to be heard.
I'd love to hear about it.
Everyone has a story. Not everyone gets the microphone.
Amplify with Laura C is about creating space for more voices, more perspectives and more opportunities to connect. Because you never know which conversation, song or story might change the way you see the world.
Join me Thursday nights, 7–8 pm, on 2SSR 99.7FM.
